Requirements :
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Surveying or a construction related discipline. Relevant professional qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 15 years’ relevant hands-on experience in overseeing luxury hotel projects or large-scale mixed-use developments on site with track record in managing contracts of complex nature. Prior working experience with developers and/ or consultancy firms would be an advantage.
- Strong in construction management with working knowledge of development processes, construction sequences and details.

Mechanical and Electrical Manager [Renovation]
Based on site Shangri-la Hotel, Surabaya / Shangri-la Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

Requirements :
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or related discipline. Relevant professional qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant hands-on experience in supervising M&E works on site for luxury hotel projects or large-scale mixed-use developments.
- Prior working experience with developers and/ or consultancy firms would be an advantage.
- Competent in designing, installing and testing of M&E system.

Fit-out Manager [Renovation]

Requirements :
- Degree in Interior Design/ Architectural Studies or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant hands-on experience with track record in high-end hospitality/ retail/ residential fit-out projects.
- Prior working experience with developers and/ or consultancy firms would be an advantage.
- Sound knowledge of best practices, workmanship in construction and project design

Quantity Surveying Manager [Renovation / New Projects]
Based on site in Shangri-la Hotel, Kuala Lumpur / Hotel Jen Penang / Sule Square, Yangon.

Requirements :
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline. Relevant professional qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant hands-on experience in supervising 08 works on site for luxury hotel projects or large-scale mixed-use developments.
- Prior working experience with developers and/ or consultancy firms would be an advantage.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with strong contractual knowledge.

Hours : 45 hours per week, 5 days out of 7
Shift : Shift falls between 7 am to 10pm including weekends

Details : We are looking for someone who will be both welcoming and engaging with our guest, someone bubbly who will wow every guest who comes through the door, and make them feel that, rather than just check in to another hotel, they feel welcome to their home.  You will provide customer-focussed service to all our guests both face to face and on the telephone. You will carry out all daily reception procedures and assist guest with their queries and/or making arrangement for visiting local attraction, tours or dinner reservations. The role will require responding to all enquires, requests and reservations efficiently and with high standards of welcome and hospitality and in line with the hotel product plan.

Job Requirements : The ideal candidate will  have excellent communication skills, be immaculately presented, have a positive and cheerful attitude to both staff and customers, and be passionate in wanting to provide first class customer care. You must be able an individual who can work independently and happy to take on responsibilities. Due to the business needs, you must be fluent in english and chinese. Hospitality students and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

- Define/Recommend sales and marketing strategies and consequent action plans for the hotel.
- Identify targeted sources of business and available business opportunities for the hotel.
- Consolidate market targets and define team goals and personal quotes.
- Ensure the proper utilization of available data from IFCA and Opera and turn this information into basis for effective business strategies.
- Develop sales & marketing strategies that would increase the hotel’s market share.
- Confers with department heads to discuss and formulate plans for soliciting business.
- Set rate guidelines and parameter to maximize yield of the hotel.
- Motivate team to achieve the forecast revenue.

- **The Director of Sales is responsible for planning and administering sales policies and programs to foster and promote hotel patronage; to work closely with the General Manager & Executive Assistant Manager - Rooms and
Sales & Marketing to determine appropriate sales strategies in all market segments towards maximizing the hotel revenues, maximum of occupancy of conferences and banquettes in order to optimize general business
opportunities. He/she is also responsible & in charge of training and supervising of the hotel’s sales & marketing team.

- **The Assistant Director of Sales is to work closely and responsible for assisting the Director of Sales & Marketing with the management of day to day sales department activities, implement action plans and accomplish goals
and set targets, training and managing the group sales team for achievement in areas of sales activity, productivity and revenue goals.

Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
- Required Language (5) : English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese.
- At least 6 year(s) working experience in the same or similar position in a hotel.
- Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Sales & Marketing in hotel.
- Good leadership & management skills.
- Must be Malaysian Citizens.
- Weekends and Holidays may be required as business needs warrant.
- Possess own transport and must be able to travel outside Malacca.
